The sales team at the German Plastics Center (SKZ) is growing. The number of employees in sales was doubled at the beginning of the year. Further capacity expansion is planned over the course of the year.

SKZ is broadly positioned and sees itself as a pioneer for the plastics industry. Accordingly, it offers a very comprehensive portfolio covering all aspects of plastics. To ensure that SKZ customers continue to receive competent and solution-oriented answers to their questions, the institute's sales department is being expanded. In addition to the already established sales team around Matthias Ruff in the area of research and education, a second team around Alexander Ebenbeck joins the team, which focuses on the areas of product testing and certification. The colleagues are happy about the support and will work in close coordination to provide customers with easy access to all SKZ services in the future.
"I am looking forward to the upcoming tasks and the cooperation with my colleagues. SKZ already has an extensive network and many loyal customers and partners. Our task now is to efficiently support them in achieving their aims - in other words, to be trailblazers," Alexander Ebenbeck, Sales Manager Product Testing, emphasizes.
"Together with our new colleagues, we would particularly like to expand cross-selling between SKZ companies. Even our long-standing partners are often unaware of the support opportunities that can still arise from the SKZ network," adds Matthias Ruff, Sales Manager Education and Research.
The expansion of sales is part of SKZ's long-term strategy to increase awareness of the company, attract new customers and partners, and expand existing business relationships. Product testing and certification are just as much at home at SKZ as vocational training and continuing education, research and development for new products and processes.
