Certification procedure
How the audit works
The certification of your management system proceeds in the following steps.
For initial certification
1) On-site visit: Customer-specific informational discussion to clarify open questions
about the topic "Certification of your management system" (optional)
2) Documentation review (with subsequent assessment report)
3) Audit stage 1: On-site audit (with subsequent audit report)
4) Audit stage 2 - certification audit: on-site audit (followed by audit report)
5) Issue of certificate: Decision on certification,
certificate issuance (3-year term) and inclusion in the SKZ-Cert reference list
6-7) Annual surveillance, on-site audits (with subsequent audit reports)
Transition to re-certification
8) Re-certification before expiry of the previous certificate,
On-site audit (with subsequent audit report)
9) Certificate issuance: decision on further certification,
certificate issuance (3-year term)
10-11) Annual surveillance, on-site audits (with subsequent audit reports)
12) Re-certification cycle (8-11) repeats continuously ...
