Plastic Pipe Systems

The place to go for all questions concerning plastic pipes.

Our testing laboratory for Plastic Pipe Systems combines our expertise in the field of plastic piping systems across the various divisions of SKZ:

In our testing laboratories (acc. to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025), all common tests on components for pipelines are carried out – from bursting pressure tests on micro ducts for broadband expansion to determination of ring stiffness on DN 1000 wastewater pipe. 

Our inspectors visit the production sites of our customers worldwide and carry out product monitoring (acc. to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020) for many certifiers. 

Our certification body (acc. to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065) certifies more than 150 customers according to more than 100 different standards and guidelines concerning the piping sector (e.g. according to our SKZ HR specifications for tests and inspection).

Drinking water and gas supply

What do drinking water and gas piping systems have in common? In both applications, the individual components (pipes, fittings, valves, ...) of pressurized piping systems are subject to the strict-quality requirements, which are regulated by the following product standards:

We are your competent partner for all tests on piping systems that are covered by Musterverwaltungsvorschrift Technische Baubestimmungen (MVV TB bzw. BayTB), and that are not covered by European standards and therefore require approval (AbZ) by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) in Germany.
 

Geothermal probes

Use of near-surface geothermal energy as a renewable energy source is becoming increasingly important. The use of high-quality plastics for manufacturing of geothermal probes enables geothermal energy to be used safely for many years. 

SKZ certified geothermal probes in accordance with our SKZ specifications for testing and inspection meet the current state of the art and highest quality requirements, which are ensured by third-party monitoring.

Heating

Cable conduits support reliable and sustainable solutions for broadband expansion and the transition to decentral availability renewable energies. 

SKZ certified cable conduits in accordance with SKZ specifications for tests and inspection comply with the current state of the art and highest quality requirements, which are ensured by third-party monitoring.

We determine all relevant material characteristics of your new product and offer support during the certification process of your materials.
