With the CE marking, you confirm that your product complies with the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the relevant technical specifications and can be safely placed on the market. It is not a third-party certification, but a manufacturer's responsibility.
With our experienced team of qualified auditors, we carry out audits (in accordance with the relevant performance assessment system) and product tests (according to System 1/1+) for you worldwide. The CE certificate we issue on this basis, e.g., for geosynthetics according to System 2+, forms the basis for your EU declaration of conformity.

The CE marking indicates that a product complies with all applicable requirements of the Construction Products Regulation. Different conformity assessment procedures apply depending on the product type and safety risk:
System 1 / 1+
For products that are particularly relevant to safety, e.g., load-bearing components. Here, a notified body tests the product and regularly monitors production. In System 1+, regular product testing by a notified body is required.
System 2+
Monitoring of factory production control (FPC) by a notified body.
System 3
The notified body inspects the product, while the manufacturer is responsible for production control.
System 4
For low-risk products. Self-testing and self-certification by the manufacturer—external testing is not necessary.

about CE certification
The CE marking is a certification mark used in the European Union. The CE marking is mandatory for many products sold in EU member states, and it allows manufacturers to freely distribute their products within the EU single market. To obtain CE certification, manufacturers must carry out certain conformity assessment procedures and ensure that their products comply with the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the relevant technical specifications.
Certification according to the Construction Products Regulation (BauPVO)
- CE certification of construction products is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 9, 2011 (Construction Products Regulation - CPR).
Regulation - 305/2011 - EN - EUR-Lex - The new Regulation (EU) No. 2024/3110 of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 27, 2024, is already in force and will gradually replace the old one until January 8, 2040.
Regulation - EU - 2024/3110 - EN - EUR-Lex - The system used to assess and verify the constancy of performance of the construction product is specified in the relevant technical specification (harmonized standard or European Technical Assessment Document).
- Before affixing the CE marking (and thus before marketing your product), a certificate of the product's performance consistency (systems 1+ and 1) or of the conformity of the factory production control (FPC, system 2+) must be issued by a notified certification body.
