AiF

The AiF - Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen "Otto von Guericke" e.V. - is an industry-based innovation network founded in 1954 to promote research and development in small and medium-sized enterprises. It links the interests of industry, science and politics. As an umbrella organisation of around 100 industry-specific research associations, its mission is to strengthen the competitiveness of Germany's economy in the long term. As a non-profit association, the AiF is the sponsor of Industrielle Gemeinschaftsforschung (IGF).

Industrielle Gemeinschaftsforschung (IGF) builds a bridge between basic research and economic application. Under the umbrella of the AiF research associations, new technologies are prepared for entire sectors and increasingly across sectors in order to maintain and strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) supports the IGF with public funds.

The Rohrleitungsbauverband e.V. (rbv) has the purpose of promoting technology and science in pipeline construction and network services in water and wastewater management, energy supply and telecommunications. The association's main activities include working on the relevant technical regulations, representing technical interests vis-à-vis authorities and other institutions, and qualifying members through further training measures for their employees. The Berufsförderungswerk des Rohrleitungsbauverbandes GmbH (brbv), as the association's educational company, offers comprehensive and modern further and advanced training programmes in pipeline construction throughout Germany.

DVGW

The DVGW is the technical and scientific association in the gas and water sector that has been setting the technical standards for safe and reliable gas and water supply for more than 150 years, actively initiates and accompanies the exchange of ideas and information in the fields of gas and water, and motivates and promotes further development in the sector by providing practice-relevant assistance.

DGQ

The German Society for Quality (DGQ) is your competent partner for quality, business excellence and quality management in Germany. The DGQ accompanies you on your way to success on three levels: personal further education with certificate, innovative research projects and a broad network in the DGQ Association. For around 60 years, DGQ has been contributing to the sustainable success of its members, customers and partners.

FITI

The FITI Testing and Research Institute in Seoul is the most renowned institute for geosynthetics in South Korea. The institute has accredited testing laboratories, which means that the testing services complement those of the SKZ in an ideal way. Through the mutual recognition of test results, SKZ customers can gain market access to South Korea via the R-mark. The cooperation offers numerous synergy effects for the direct benefit of the customer, clearly according to the motto "Cooperation moves us forward and creates added value".

FHWS

The University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) is a university in Bavaria founded in 1971 with two departments in Würzburg and Schweinfurt.
It is the third largest university of applied sciences in Bavaria. The range of courses offered by the ten faculties currently includes 26 degree programmes with diploma, bachelor's and master's degrees.

Konstruktionsbüro Hein

The design office Hein was founded in 1986 by Rudolf Hein and in the first years focused on the design of injection moulds and the area of technical training. As the company expanded, it concentrated on the areas of product development and the design of injection moulds. In addition to these areas of expertise, the focus today is on injection moulding simulations including sprue situation and tempering, trouble shooting and component optimisation as well as the development of sustainable mould systems (IsoForm^®) and the creation of product visualisations. In 1996, the first Technology Day for Product Development, Mould Making and Injection Moulding was held in Neustadt (near Hanover), which has since become a trademark for this company with many innovations and a great response in the industry (2014 with 550 participants).

P.E.S.

P.E.S. is an Iranian manufacturer of pipes and fittings made of polyethylene in a wide variety of sizes for a wide range of sectors. The cooperation between SKZ and P.E.S. has existed since 2004.

University of Würzburg

SKZ and the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg are forging new paths of cooperation. The common goal is to intensify research, improve training and bring engineers to the market. SKZ is funding an endowed professorship for "Polymer Functional Materials" at the university. This is intended to secure the already high quality of basic and applied research and to further improve the training of young scientists in the field of polymer functional materials.

VMPA

Since its foundation in 1948, VMPA, the Association of Materials Testing Institutes, has been considered a pioneer in the fields of materials testing in many decisive bodies. In almost all areas of life, the VMPA member organisations test, monitor and evaluate the quality of materials, products and constructions.

The Lower Saxony Knowledge and Innovation Network Polymer Technology (WIP) was founded in 2001 with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange. At present, the WIP has just over fifty members from the entire polymer technology value chain. This value chain includes the focal points of raw materials, processors, service providers, compounders and recyclers, as well as science and teaching. The Lower Saxony companies and scientific institutions in polymer technology and research joined forces in the WIP to optimise cooperation and communication among themselves. The WIP has set itself the task of linking personal contacts quickly and easily in order to bring members together. The use of as many opportunities as possible and the constant exchange of knowledge are the basis for joint success.

WFF

In 2002, Lower Franconian research institutions and innovation-oriented companies joined forces in the Würzburg Research Association for Functional Materials in order to quickly translate current research findings into innovative products and thus bring about rapid technology transfer.

ZUSE-Gemeinschaft (ZUSE-Association)

The industrial research centres united in the ZUSE-Association have a clear message to SMEs: as research and development service providers, their facilities ensure the on-site transfer of innovation to industry, primarily for small and medium-sized enterprises.
