A modern IT infrastructure is the backbone of future-oriented data utilization. Industry-typical brownfield environments present companies with major challenges in the area of data acquisition on a daily basis. In order to overcome these and to be able to exploit the enormous potentials through data analysis and data mining techniques, we deal with technologies for data acquisition and shop-floor connectivity. This ranges from MES, LIMS and ERP systems to IIoT frameworks. Within this environment, the connection of a wide variety of digital interfaces (e.g. OPC-UA, MQTT, EUROMAP), the storage of data in central database systems and related decentralized technologies (e.g. distributed ledger), as well as the provision of data for analyses and other services are central topics. For this purpose, we use many different systems in our labs with the goal of a fully connected shop-floor, which are available and accessible as demonstrators.
We are well-versed in the use of different tools for data analysis and data-based process modeling. We evaluate your real process data according to your targets, assess their quality and create process models.
You want to obtain information about your production processes and manufactured components that is not visible to the naked eye? The integration of suitable measuring and testing technology often helps here. By combining our in-depth application-specific plastics knowledge with that of sensor technology, we create holistic solutions that are well received on the market. Contact us and we will find a suitable sensor technology for you as well.

Through our activities, we have a good overview of available digital tools and technologies. We support you in selecting the appropriate technology for your problem and know the right partner for implementation.
In our research projects, we collect and annotate measurement data from many processes in plastics processing. Interested parties can view and compare the process data we have collected on plastic welding, including the strengths of the weld seams, on Streamlit.io
Please feel free to contact us for further data!
