Extrusion is a manufacturing process used to produce products with a fixed cross-sectional profile. Plastic is forced through a nozzle that forms it into a specific shape and size. The extrusion process is often used to make plastic pipes, hoses and films, as well as food products.
In this e-learning course you will learn about the basic machine units of an extrusion line. You will learn interactively and clearly what happens in the plasticising cylinder, which extruder screws there are and which components are important in the extrusion downstream.
From the time of booking, you will have access to the course for 12 weeks.
After passing the learning test you will receive a certificate of completion.
