During their training, Moritz Schwarz and Tobias Kuhn acquired a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge in the characterization of material properties. This included a variety of measurement methods - including mechanical tests such as tensile, bending and impact tests, spectroscopic and thermal analyses, chemical investigations, electrical measurements and microscopic analyses. Particularly important for their work with plastics were investigations into ageing behavior, including artificial weathering.
SKZ trainees regularly achieve top places in final examinations
The SKZ is characterized by the excellent quality of its training, which is ensured by in-depth instruction in the test laboratory under the guidance of experienced SKZ laboratory staff. This proven method has led to the SKZ's trainee physics laboratory technicians regularly achieving top positions in the final examinations for many years.
“High level of training”
“Moritz Schwarz and Tobias Kuhn are once again outstanding examples of the commitment and excellence that is promoted at the SKZ. Their successful final exams underline the high level of training and the quality of the teaching staff at SKZ,” says Alexander Ebenbeck, Head of Examination Sales at SKZ. “We are delighted that both will continue to work in the field of testing as physics laboratory technicians at the SKZ in the future.”
