SKZ establishes new Business & Sales Development division for product testing and certification
The SKZ Plastics Center is expanding its sales division in the business area of product testing and certification in order to better meet the growing market requirements. With the addition of the Business Development division, the sales department will operate under the name Business & Sales Development in future.

Würzburg Plastics Institute responds to growing market requirements
The existing sales team led by Alexander Ebenbeck and Sandra Leuckert in the Product Testing and Certification business unit at the SKZ is being strengthened by two experienced employees: Dr. Jürgen Wüst, who holds a doctorate in physics and is an authorized signatory and has been working in the testing department at the SKZ since 1998, and Barbara Stärk, who has been working as a team assistant at the SKZ for five years. Both bring valuable expertise and many years of experience that will enrich the team. Sandra Leuckert only joined the sales department in mid-March (we reported). In future, Wüst will act as Head of the new Business & Sales Development department, into which Sales is integrated.
Focus on business development topics
In addition to sales tasks, which will continue to be the responsibility of Sandra Leukert and Head of Sales Alexander Ebenbeck, the new focus will be on business development topics. This expansion makes it possible to respond even more specifically to the needs of customers and develop innovative solutions. By combining Business & Sales Development with the existing sales team, the future team will have expanded expertise in sales as well as product and technical knowledge in the areas of testing, inspection and product certification. “With this expansion and the addition of Jürgen Wüst and Barbara Stärk, we are ideally positioned to provide our customers with even more comprehensive support and open up new business opportunities,” says Dr. Thomas Hochrein, Managing Director Product Testing and Certification.
