Anton Paar's new rheometer measures viscosity and flow curves in rotation and frequency and amplitude sweeps in oscillation.

The commissioning of the new rheometer is another milestone in SKZ's continuous development to support the plastics industry in the development of new materials and technologies.

The rheometer can measure viscosity and flow curves in rotational, frequency and amplitude sweeps. The temperature control unit allows measurements up to 600 °C or in a defined temperature program. Investigations of flow properties over time, e.g. to observe the curing of an adhesive or to determine the degree of cross-linking of PE-X, are also part of the many possibilities of the new rheometer. Measurements according to current standards are also part of the possible tests. In addition, the rheometer can be expanded with a wide range of accessories for special applications.
