SKZ and egeplast celebrate 25 years of successful cooperation
The Plastics Center SKZ and the plastic pipe systems manufacturer egeplast international GmbH have celebrated 25 years of successful partnership. This collaboration has contributed significantly to the quality and durability of egeplast pipe systems.

Monitoring of pipes serves safety and quality in water and building services engineering
At a handover ceremony, Uwe Pfeuffer, auditor and long-standing employee of the pipe systems group at SKZ, presented the egeplast team with a certificate for 25 years of cooperation. Torsten Ratzmann (Managing Director Operations and Innovation), Marco Paaßen (Head of Quality Assurance QM/UM/EnM) and Jonas Berger (Quality Assurance Employee) were delighted to accept the award.

He played a major role in the monitoring and quality assurance of the pipe systems. We wish him all the best for his upcoming, well-deserved retirement.’
Six-monthly inspection by SKZ
Monitoring of pipes is of decisive importance for ensuring quality and safety in water supply and building services engineering. During the six-monthly inspection, both the production plant is inspected by an auditor from the SKZ and the products/pipes themselves are checked by an auditor from the SKZ in the SKZ test laboratory within the framework of a defined test scope (mechanical tests). These regular checks help to ensure that the wide range of products/pipes from egeplast meet the highest standards.
