Here, topics such as energy efficiency along the plastics production process, material alternatives and alternative materials, the digital transformation and approaches to solutions for the shortage of skilled workers in the plastics industry will be addressed. In addition, it will also be about digitalization in auditing, future legislation for energy and the environment, increasing demands on management systems, and exciting user topics.

Quality is both subjective and evaluated differently by everyone. Companies must therefore understand their customers' requirements precisely and implement them in the best possible way. The plastics industry masters this challenge through process knowledge and constant innovation. However, when the general conditions change as abruptly and incalculably as they have in recent years, it is necessary to react quickly. Energy shortages and shortages of raw materials and skilled workers are just some of the factors that make it difficult for the industry to meet customers' needs and demands. Longer delivery times and higher prices with the same or poorer product quality are unacceptable.
The Quality Summit addresses these issues and aims to actively support participants in finding food for thought and possible solutions to these challenges. Highly qualified lecturers and workshop leaders will be available for personal exchange and to provide impetus. Plenty of free space for discussions with experts from the plastics industry rounds off the Quality Summit.
The participants actively work together on concrete issues in four parallel workshops. The results will also be discussed interactively with the other groups afterwards. The workshops will cover the following topics, among others:
"In addition, we have exciting user topics in the program, for example from the company Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology," says conference manager Christoph Kreutz, who is also head of the new Quality Training Center at SKZ.
The evening before, there will be a get-together with ice hockey goalkeeper Lukas Lang on the topic of "Professional sports: transferring mindset and attitudes into business".
