New Structure for the Sponsoring Association of the SKZ
After more than 60 years of dedicated and successful non-profit work, it was necessary to embed the current corporate structures of the SKZ in a modernized association statute, thus linking the basis of the association's activities with modern management structures.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Bastian appointed full-time chairman of the board of directors
A new version of the statutes with an honorary supervisory board and full-time executive board instead of the previous administrative board was presented to the more than 400 members of the FSKZ in the run-up to the general meeting in June 2022 and put to the vote. The FSKZ members unanimously adopted the new Articles of Association. After submission and registration with the Würzburg Register of Associations, the newly elected Director Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Bastian and the Supervisory Board members were able to start their work in December 2022.
Bastian is very pleased with this development and emphasizes that the transfer of entrepreneurial responsibility from an honorary board of directors to him as the newly elected and full-time chairman of the board represents an important step in the development of the corporate culture of FSKZ e.V.. At the same time, Bastian congratulated the newly appointed supervisory board members and looked forward to continued, successful cooperation in future tasks. "Many thanks to all members for unanimously supporting this important decision. I would also like to express my sincere thanks to the previous Administrative Board for the enormous trust they have shown in our cooperation over the past years," Bastian said.
The Fördergemeinschaft für das Süddeutsche Kunststoff-Zentrum e.V. (Association for the Promotion of the German Plastics Center) was founded in 1961 as a non-profit association with the aim of promoting practice-oriented research and development as well as education and training in the field of plastics technology.
