Products are becoming increasingly individualized. Companies are forced to be correspondingly agile and flexible in their response to customer requirements. Therefore, the need for further training is also often very individual and adapted to specific projects. The European Center for Dispersion Technologies (EZD) in Selb responds with an offer perfectly tailored to the customer.

For certain projects or customer requirements, know-how in specific areas often needs to be built up quickly and in great detail. EZD in Selb, a subsidiary of the German Plastics Center (SKZ), supports its partners with modular, individual training courses. Here, interested parties can create their own curriculum from a wide range of basic and advanced modules. Participants are not only spoilt for choice in terms of content, but also in terms of location and format. Thus, the courses can be conducted online or in presence. Employees can be trained at their own company or at EZD.
The choice of dates is limited only by demand, which has shown a sharp increase in recent months. "The individual training courses are intended as a supplement to our standardized courses. Our aim was to give our customers the opportunity to cover very individual needs. We already had a strong demand for all modules last year, which is why we will continue to offer them. So the customer will continue to have the choice of attending the ready-made course or putting together training tailored to the needs of several employees," explains Dr. Felipe Wolff-Fabris, head of EZD.
Interested parties can choose from a wide range of modules, from formulation for different systems, such as inks, resins and adhesives, dispersion, coatings, to rheology and color measurements. This allows the trained companies to respond quickly and accurately to the requirements placed on them. The training courses are also available in German or English for international flexibility.
