Nevertheless, it is precisely the further training of employees that is an investment item that is often the first to be saved. But especially now, in times of a shortage of skilled workers, this is a big mistake. Well-founded further training leads to improvements in processes, which means that further training usually pays for itself even faster than technical investments.
In addition, there are numerous possibilities for financial support. Educational support can be provided through the respective federal states, the federal government directly, and even through trade associations. For example, the Support Association of the Chemical Industry (UCI) provides funding for trainees to prepare for the final examination or for other courses that support the teaching content. In addition to official qualifications such as the "Plastics and Rubber" master craftsman's certificate, individual advanced training courses can also be subsidized.
