SKZ offers exciting conferences in 2024
The SKZ Plastics Center is once again organizing a number of conferences on the subject of plastics. The conferences - including "Films + Vehicles" and the popular SKZ Network Day - offer the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and expand your knowledge in a convenient way.

Cutting-edge topics, expert speakers, and innovative ideas attract large crowds
A total of 13 exhibitions are already planned for 2024 - eight of them in the new and modern conference rooms of the SKZ in Würzburg. The symposia "Polymer Foams - Perspectives and Trends" and "Weathering of Plastics", which take place every two years, will kick off in April. Up to 200 participants and some 40 exhibitors are expected at "Films + Vehicles," also in April. Automotive expert Prof. Stefan Bratzel from the Center of Automotive Management will be the keynote speaker.
Varied social program
The conference "Fuse box meets dryer - Plastics in E&E applications" will once again take place in the Mainfrankensäle in Veitshöchheim near Würzburg with more than 100 participants. Another highlight this year will be the combined event from July 25 to 27 with the SKZ Innovation Day, the SKZ Network Day and the SKZ Technology Day. With the "20th Duisburg Extrusion Conference" in November, the industry meeting has already become a tradition and, in addition to numerous exciting topics, also offers the opportunity for a varied supporting program. The conference year will be rounded off by the "Plastics for Fuel Cells and Modern Battery Technology" conference, which will also be held in Duisburg in November.
New formats
There will also be new formats this year, including panel discussions and a news ticker. "We are very much looking forward to the new conference year," says Matthias Ruff, Head of Sales Education & Research at SKZ. "Once again, attendees can look forward to exciting and timely topics, expert speakers and innovative ideas. And as always, there will be plenty of time for networking and exchanging ideas.
